About this notice

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy for California residents and describes rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA.

Categories of personal information we collect

In the last 12 months we have collected these categories:

• Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, IP address and online identifiers.
• Commercial information: the coverage request you submitted and the plans you viewed or compared.
• Internet activity: pages viewed, referring site and campaign parameters.
• Inferences drawn to match you with relevant plan options, such as household type and stated priorities.

Sensitive personal information

This site does not collect Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, health records, financial account numbers or account credentials. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics.

Sources, purposes and disclosures

We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, and automatically from your browser. We use it to respond to your request, to prepare relevant plan options, and to operate and measure the site.

We disclose personal information for business purposes to licensed consultants working with us, to carriers or administrators when you pursue a plan, and to service providers that host the site, store data, deliver email and provide analytics.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share limited internet activity information with advertising and analytics providers, which some laws treat as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights

California residents may:

• Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Request deletion, subject to exceptions such as insurance recordkeeping obligations.
• Opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not use it in ways requiring this right.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
